I appreciate who Peter was. I look forward to reading more on Peter in this series.

Jesus overcame flesh and temptation over and over. It’s important to know that we don’t experience anything in this life that Jesus hasn’t already experienced.

Thank God for his Spirit to lead us and for His grace when we fall short.

So true! God didn't want or need Peter to be someone other than who he was. He just wanted him to be who he was for Him.

Peter, of course, is the most outspoken and most often referenced disciple in the NT, so it’s not surprising that the adversary would work through him to cause Jesus to falter. That alone is ridiculous considering that Jesus is God. I have thoroughly enjoyed reading this thread regarding Peter through your eyes! Thank you and God continue to bless you.🙏
